Matthew is an APA titled Sports Physiotherapist and partner at Active Life Physiotherapy. He graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Queensland in 1998 and completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2009. He is also a member of Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Matt has extensive private practice experience having worked locally as well as in the U.S.A. and U.K. He has worked with active people and athletes at all levels and ages, from local juniors and weekend warriors to national and international level and most recently with the Gold Coast United A league Soccer Club. This experience provides him with the most up to date expertise in the management of aches and pains, not just in athletes but people of all ages. Matt has worked a guest lecturer on hip joint assessment and pathology with the Griffith University Physiotherapy program.

Jarryd graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2014 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. During his training He had experience working alongside Physiotherapists at The Sydney Children’s Hospital, The Royal Newcastle Centre, Gosford Hospital, Maitland Public and Private Hospital.
Jarryd has represented NSW in a variety of sports including white-water kayaking, volleyball and swimming. He was also a part of the Australian Junior Development team for Kayaking. Jarryd also enjoys surfing and playing golf.
His passion for being active has developed his pursuit and interest in the field of Physiotherapy. He is focused on helping others maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Through a combination of manual therapy, dry needling, pilates and strengthening programs, He can help you manage your aches and pains, to give you the active lifestyle you desire.

Sandi is a registered Physiotherapist and has joined the Active Life team in June this year. She graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. During her studies she had experience working in many different hospital and private settings, and found a particular interest in Pilates. She takes many of the classes at the Murwillumbah clinic, and having completed numerous Pilates courses, she is well equipped to tailor a program suited to your needs; be that for a home program or in a class setting.
Sandi enjoys an active life, including playing netball, doing resistance training and swimming. As a Physiotherapist, her passion lies with helping others live their most active and pain-free life, and she can help you achieve this through manual therapy treatments and exercise prescription.
