Abby grew up in the small town of Perth, Canada, and later moved to Kingston to pursue her education. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Honours from Queen’s University in 2020. During her time at Queen’s, Abby engaged in a Strength and Conditioning internship, working closely with various sports teams both in the gym and on the field. In her final year, she gained valuable experience in injury management and rehabilitation while working with the women’s rugby team, which sparked her interest in physiotherapy.
Abby’s studies also took her abroad to Perth, Australia, where she spent a semester at the University of Western Australia. Captivated by the country, she decided to move permanently to Australia to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy program at Bond University.
An avid sports enthusiast, Abby played various sports growing up and eventually focused on competitive volleyball. Her passion for athletic performance and Strength and Conditioning continues to drive her professional pursuits. She also gained valuable experience in women’s health throughout her studies, which she aims to continue to develop professionally.
